BAPU Foundation is family-led and family-funded, built on one family’s story and a simple belief: every older adult deserves to age with care, connection and dignity.
We partner with trusted, locally rooted organisations already doing this work on the ground — helping them strengthen and extend the support they provide to vulnerable and often overlooked older adults. With a global vision and a locally led approach, we work alongside people who understand the needs and realities of their communities.

More About Our Foundation
Our Story
BAPU Foundation was born from a deeply personal family story and carries forward values of care, compassion and responsibility across generations. We support work that helps vulnerable and often overlooked older adults live with greater security, connection, purpose and dignity.
Our Role
We work through trusted organisations already closest to older adults. By funding and strengthening locally led work, we help expand essential care, connection and practical support for those at risk of being overlooked.

Our Focus Areas
Our five Strategic Focus Areas guide where we focus our resources: Safe Housing, Health & Care; Social Inclusion & Belonging; Cognitive Wellbeing & Technology; Awareness & Advocacy; and Research, Learning & Innovation.
“The values behind BAPU Foundation go back generations, shaped by Bapu’s own journey and everything he taught us about resilience and dignity. Every partnership we build helps turn those values into action — so that growing older never means becoming invisible.”
— Annet Eijkelkamp, Co-Founder, BAPU Foundation
