Reaching Those Most in Need: Who We Support

At the BAPU Foundation, we focus on vulnerable elders who meet specific criteria — allowing us to direct our support to those most in need of care, dignity, and connection. By clearly defining our focus, we ensure our efforts to reach those at greatest risk of being overlooked, isolated, or marginalized.

We prioritize elders who meet one or more of the following:

65 Years or Older

Individuals aged 65 and above who face increasing vulnerability due to age-related challenges.

Self-Care Limitations

Elders who struggle with daily activities such as hygiene, meal preparation, or medication management without assistance.

Frail & Abandoned

Those experiencing poor physical or emotional health, limited mobility, or a lack of adequate care, companionship, or safety.

Limited Support System

Elders living without reliable family, friends, or community networks to provide meaningful care or advocacy.

Financial Hardship

Individuals facing low or no income, unable to access essential care, housing, or services due to economic barriers.

Physical Access Barriers

Elders who require help with mobility, transportation, or accessing healthcare and other essential services.
